Greyhounds Set Records at Canadian Indoor Championships
Christa Bortignon broke 2 Canadian records in the 50M and 50M hurdles while Al Percival broke the Canadian record in the 50M. Deborah Lee set 2 new BC records in the 50M and 50M Hurdles and broke 2 more BC records in the Triple Jump and High jump. Deborah missed a 5th BC record in the 60M hurdles by only 1/100th of a second. Natasha Bacchus set a new BC record in the 50M and also broke her own BC record in the 60M. Women lead charge for gold at BC Championships
Greyhounds Lynnette Baldock, Christa Bortignon and Rachel Fouladi (photo left) each won 6 gold medals in their individual events at the BC Masters Indoor Championships held in Kamloops Feb. 13-15. Norm Lesage won 3 gold and broke the Canadian Indoor records in the M85 60M and 200M. See Harold’s “Hello Greyhounds” below for more details.
