Harold Morioka
Lenore Montgomery was inducted to the BC Athletics Hall of Fame in 2017 for being a true proponent and champion of Athletics as a Sport for Life.
Over the last 15 years, Lenore established BC, Canadian and World Records at distances from 400m to 10K in the W70, W75 and W80 categories.
Notable accomplishments:
2011 - Lenore was named BC Athletics Masters Female Road Runner of the Year
2011 - a W80 victory in the prestigious Carlsbad 5000 in world record time.
2011 - Gold in the 400m and the 5K at the World Masters Athletics championships in Sacramento, Ca.
2012 – Lenore named Canadian Masters Athlete for July and inducted in the CMA Hall of Fame.
2015 - BCA Masters Female Track Athlete of the Year; CMA Track Athlete of the Year and winner of the Earl Fee Award.
2016 - Canadian Masters Athlete for the month of February with 4 new World Records.
