Sport BC Athlete of the Year 2017

Harold Morioka

Christa Bortignon was chosen by Sport BC as the Masters Athlete of the Year, 2017.  The award was made at their 52nd Annual Athlete of the Year Awards Banquet at the Westin Bayshore Hotel on March 28, 2018.

Christa won the honour most notably for her 6 Gold medals at the World Indoor Championships in Daegu, South Korea, in March 2017, and for her 4 World Records in the Indoor and Outdoor Triple Jump and Long Jump.
